The Petroleum Club of Romania, in partnership with the Petroleum-Gas University of Ploiesti, organized the first edition of PEGS 2025 – Petroleum Engineering Gas Solutions Expo & Seminar on 9 October 2025 at the Petroleum & Gas University Ploiesti, Prahova County. The event represented a relevant meeting point of the energy industry and its Academia where participants could discover new technologies and solutions of the oil and gas sector. Participation was free of charge for all energy and engineering professionals and students for the entire day.
The exhibition featured innovative products, technologies and solutions from top companies of the energy sector in Romania. The exhibitors included: INSPET, Kit Metal, Voith Group, Roxtec Romania, UPRUC CTR, Hatboru Romania, Habau Romania, Vastrum Transcom, Gazpet Instal, TSM Synergy Solutions & PROTEGO, SPE Petroleum-Gas University of Ploiesti Student Chapter, Smartech Consult, Bright Technology Consult, Euro Gas Systems, and Valrom Industrie.
The event included a seminar dedicated to technical presentations from the exhibitors and open discussions on important issues of the industry, including the labour market. PEGS 2025 was also a great opportunity for networking between oil & gas professionals, but also between companies and students, their prospective employees.
